Novi član IKS-a, Nemanja

Pozdrav, zovem se Nemanja. Rođen i stasao u Sisku. Već duži niz godina sam aktivan u civilnom društvu, u raznim udrugama, društvenim poduzećima i raznim inicijativama. Udruga Zeleni Brijeg čiji sam osnivač je u proteklih 4 godine organizirala razne događaje vezane uz promicanje urbane kulture mladih i onih malo starijih.

Nemanja Kantar

Hello, my name is Nemanja. Born and raised in Sisak. For many years I have been active in civil society, in associations, social enterprises and various initiatives. Association Zeleni Brijeg, of which I am one the founders, has organized various events in the past 4 years related to the promotion of urban culture of young people and those a little bit older.
I like to photograph and record and make videos, posters, leaflets, brochures, etc., which I have been doing for 10 years and where I feel like a fish in the water.

The IKS Association and I recently began our journey together, each on its own side of the street, but with the same mission. I am employed as part of a project called “CROSS WORK” whose goal is, among others, to contribute to the sustainable development of the local community, which makes me very happy because I think that my experience gained in the Humana Nova Social Cooperative will contribute to the achievement of the project goal.
My role in IKS is to photograph, record and create content during the activities and implementation of the association’s projects, but in addition, I will lead and coordinate workshops and activities for children and young people, but everyone who has ever worked in any association knows that employees of the associations are “maid of all work”, so my work day can look very colorful. So far at IKS I find every day great, fun and fulfilling, and I know it will be the same in the future because I work with a great team of people who love their job and want to improve the life of everyone around them. 😊

In the last seven years I have been active in the civil sector many have asked me how can I work for the association? Aren’t they nonprofit? How, how? Well, just because associations are nonprofit doesn’t mean that all their employees volunteer in these positions, but that’s exactly why they’re paid, so they can do their job without extra

load and to the best of their knowledge.

Until the next occasion, I greet you from Petrinja!
