I am 25 years old (WoW ! A quarter of a century !) and I am from Lyon, France. I arrived in Petrinja at the beginning of October, and I came… by car (1 200 kilometers !). It’s a bit crazy, and it was tiring, but everything went well. The other volunteers welcomed me very well.
I am here for 2 months, as part of the European Solidarity Corps. I have a rather atypical academic background : law, languages, management, marketing… But now, no more studies! (At least for the moment). I finished my Master in Brand Strategy and Digital Marketing in July 2022. I was doing a work-study program in a company specialized in senior residences, in Lyon. A few months ago, I wondered what I wanted to do after all that, and after some research, I said to myself “Why not become a volunteer? The main objective of my volunteer work is to help those who need it, to give my time before entering the professional world. The IKS association is like a springboard for us volunteers, to allow us to organize activities adapted to everyone. I am proud to be part of a team with great objectives.
I hope to grow from this volunteer experience and to have been able to contribute to others!

Marina, drago mi je!
Da se na brzinu predstavim, predlažem vam mali kineski portret:

Imam 25 godina (WaW! Četvrt stoljeća!) i dolazim iz Lyona u Francuskoj. U Petrinju sam stigla početkom listopada, i došla sam… autom (1200 kilometara!). to je malo ludo, i bilo je naporno, ali sve je prošlo dobro. Ostali volonteri su me dočekali vrlo dobro.
Ovdje sam 2 mjeseca, kao dio Europskih snaga solidarnosti.
Imam prilično netipično akademsko obrazovanje: pravo, jezici, menadžment, marketing…
Ali sada nema više studija! (barem trenutno).
U srpnju 2022. završila sam magisterij iz strategije brenda i digitalnog marketinga radni studijski program u tvrtki specijaliziranoj za starije osobe u Lyonu.
Prije nekoliko mjeseci sam se zapitala što želim raditi nakon svega toga, a nakon malo istraživanja sam rekla sam sebi “Zašto ne postati volonter? Glavni cilj mog volonterskog rada je pomoći onima kojima je to potrebno, dati svoje vrijeme prije ulaska u profesionalni svijet. Udruga IKS je kao odskočna daska za nas volontere, kako bismo mogli organizirati prilagođene aktivnostisvima. Ponosna sam što sam dio tima s velikim ciljevima. Nadam se da ću rasti iz ovog volonterskog iskustva i da sam mogla pridonijeti drugima!
