Among many other activities led by EVS volunteers, Spanish language lessons have also begun. These lessons take place every Wednesday from 4pm to 5.30 pm and are implemented by Laura García, our Spanish volunteer.
The lessons are designed to teach the Spanish language and culture in a funny way through games, songs and some videos.
The first day of classes was very successful thanks to the participation of 10 students, all of them women. The students showed a big interest for the language. Some of them already have basic Spanish knowledge. In any case, we pretended we’re all starting from zero and move slowly up the levels.
For the rest of the lessons we expect an attendance of between 12 and 15 people and, while registrations are closed, if you want participate you stillm have the option to go to Udruga IKS and show your interest. In the case that some students doesn’t want to continue with the lessons we will call people by order of list so you can join us.
The community in Petrinja has been very interested in the Spanish language and culture and it is for this reason that our EVS volunteer Laura wants to bring this country to all those people who are interested in being enriched by this experience and having a good time in learning the language.
