Ya nos empezamos a activar!!
Estas últimas semanas han sido muy interesantes para mi. Ya hemos empezado a trabajar en el proyecto “Zalejnica za ljudska prava“ que consiste en fomentar y educar en base a los derechos humanos y se está implementando en diferentes ciudades y diferentes Institutos (Petrinja, Glina, Topusko y Kostajnica).
Mi tarea consiste en grabar a los estudiantes que estan participando en el taller del Instituto de Topusko para después poder hacer un corto sobre ellos: sobre lo que han aprendido y sobre la temática que quieren trabajar.
La verdad es que me ha parecido muy interesante. Los estudiantes son muy activos y divertidos y estan realmente interesados en mejorar ciertas problemáticas que ellos padecen. Personalmente creo que los jóvenes son una parte muy importante de nuestra sociedad y muchas veces no se les presta la atención que se merecen. Legalmente ellos no pueden votar, pero eso no significa que no tengan el derecho a ser escuchados y que no se tengan que tener en cuenta sus demandas y necesidades. Este taller puede ser una buena oportunidad para que todos, tanto ciudadanos como políticos, empiecen a tomar en serio sus opiniones , porque son adolescentes pero tienen muy claro lo que no funciona y no es correcto para ellos y por lo tanto quieren cambiar.
Aunque suene a tópico, ellos son el futuro y tenemos que luchar por ellos por hacerles sentir a gusto dentro de su entorno y motivarlos y ayudarlos a conseguir los objetivos que se plantean en su vida. Estoy contenta porque creo que la asociaciőn IKS está trabajando en esa línea y, afortunadamente, yo también puedo participar en el proceso.

We started to move!
These lasts weeks were very interesting for me. We start to work on the project ” Zalejnica za ljudska prava”. This project try to promote and educate in human rights and is implemented in High Schools in different towns (Petrinja, Glina, Topusko and Hrvatska Kostajnica).
My task is to record the students participants in the workshop in the Topusko High School, and to make a short movie about the things that they learned and the topic which interests them the most.
The students in Topuskoactively participate int he wprkshops and are very motivated to resolve some problems on their communtiy. I think young people are a very important part of the society and are rarely given the attention they deserve. Legally they can´t vote, but this doesn’t mean that they don’t have the right to be lheard.
These workshops can be a good opportunity for everyone, citizens as well as politicians, to take seriously their views. Because they are teenagers but they have very clear view of things wich don’t work and are not right for them and therefore want to change them.
Even if it sounds like a cliché, they are the future and we have to fight for them. We need to make them feelas as an important part oft he community , motivate them and help them achieve the objectives that arise in their life. I’ m happy because I think that IKS association is working on that line and, fortunately, I can also participate in the process.
