Aller Anfang ist schwer?
Was bisher geschah…
Die ersten Eindrücke sind gut verdaulich bzw verdaut. Das Einleben quasi über Nacht vollzogen.
Aller Anfang ist bekanntlich schwer. Also ist das womöglich schon das Ende weil’s so einfach ist? Kann nicht sein. Ich fang doch gerade erst richtig an!
Aber wo war ich stehen geblieben? Ach, ja: Was bisher geschah…
Schnee, Schnee und nochmals Schnee! Überall! Im ganzen Nationalpark von Pletvice! Egal wo man geht, steht, springt, fällt, kugelt oder liegen bleibt.
Käffchen in der Sonne und Spaziergang am Wasser. Für das schöne Gefühl, dachte Anna, sorgte dennoch eher die Gesellschaft als die idyllische Umgebung.
Zur Feier des Frauentages veranstalteten die „IKS-Frauen“ einen Karaoke-Abend. Anna fand nicht nur heraus, welch ungeahnte Talente sich hinter ihren Chefs verbergen sondern auch große Freude daran, zu beobachten, welche Wirkung RAMMSTEIN‘s Musik auf sie hat.
Am Wochenende darauf wurde zur Spanish night nach Vukovar eingeladen, zu der Anna und ihr Freunde auf Grund des anhaltend winterlichen Wetters leider zu spät kamen. Doch zum Glück hält sich Alkohol – Für den selbstgemachten Sangria nach original spanischem Rezept kamen sie genau richtig. Die Partynacht sollte dann am nächsten Abend zum Staint Patrick’s day bei einem Abstecher ins serbische Novi Sad nachgeholt werden. Nach zahlreichen Erfahrungen mit jeglichen Unterkünften in Australien stellte Anna entschieden fest, dass diese hier die mit Abstand Beste ist, die Sie je gesehen hatte. Freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt.
Rijeka. Eine hübsche, bezaubernde Küstenstadt. Ein berauschender Trip. Nicht nur wegen der frischen Meeresluft.

So weit, so gut. Viel erlebt, viel Spaß gehabt. Viel Arbeit im Anmarsch, die es nun gilt schleunigst anzupacken! Aber dazu mehr in der nächsten Episode von „Anna in Kroatien“ – Schalten Sie wieder ein!
…Während all dem hab‘ ich mich eines gefragt: Jedes Ende ist ein neuer Anfang – gilt das auch vice versa? Bedeutet der Anfang von etwas Neuem das Ende des Alten?
…Vielleicht sind alle Anfänge doch nicht so einfach wie gedacht. Vielleicht sind sie es keine Anfänge sondern Enden. Vielleicht schließt sich hier der Kreis und es gibt gar kein Anfang und Ende?

All beginnings are difficult?
Previously on „Anna in Croatia“…
The first impressions are well digestible or digested. The settling just happened over night.
There is a german quote saying all beginnings are difficult. So is this the end already since it’s so easy? No, impossible. I am yet to begin!
But where was I? Oh right: Previously on Anna in Croatia…
Heaps and heaps and heaps of snow! All over Pletvice national park! Everywhere you go, rest, jump, fall, role or lie.
Not tea but coffee and empathy was to be enjoyed on a sunny afternoon at Jarun lake in Zagreb. Very quite and idyllic. But Anna thought it was rather her company that was responsible for the good feeling.
To mark the occasion of women’s day the women from IKS organized a little karaoke night. Anna found out that apparently there are unforeseen great talents hidden in them and she gladly observed the joy that RAMMSTEIN can bring to one of them!
On the following weekend some other volunteers invited Anna and her friends to a Spanish night to Vukovar. Due to the ongoing snowy weather they unfourtunatly came too late for that but alcohol luckily doesn’t go off so they were still in time for the homemade sangria. To catch up the party night that was missed they made a detour to Novi Sad the day after to celebrate Staint Patrick’s day in Serbien pubs and bars. Based on plenty of experiences with all sorts of accommodations in australia Anna declared this one here to be the very best she had ever seen before. Friendly and familiar ambiance for a certainly comfortable stay.
Rijeka. A pretty, nice seaside town. An exhilarating trip. Not only because of the fresh sea air.

…Meanwhile I was thinking about something: Every ending is a new beginning – does that go vice versa, too? Does that mean the beginning of something new is the ending of something old at the same time?
…Maybe new beginnings are not as easy as I thought. Maybe they are not beginnings but endings. Maybe this is where the loop closes and there is no beginning and ending at all?
