S krajem godine dolazi kraj i projektu „Rise in quality“ koji se provodio od rujna 2020. godine. Jedna od završnih aktivnosti bio je lokalni diseminacijski event, na kojem smo predstavili rezultate koje smo razvili kroz projekt.
Rise in quality projekt je imao za cilj podržati razvoj kapaciteta organizacija i osoba koje rade s međunarodnim volonterima, te utjecati na povećanje kvalitete podrške pružene volonterima. Kako bi postigli navedene ciljeve, kroz projekt smo razvili dva alata koja mogu koristiti sve organizacije koje rade s međunarodnim volonterima, a posebno one koje imaju projekte u sklopu programa Europskih snaga solidarnosti.
Riječ je o priručniku „Coordinating international volunteers“ koji ima za cilj podržati radnike i organizacije s mladima u pružanju kvalitetnog upravljanja međunarodnim volonterima i obogaćivanju njihovog iskustva učenja u neformalnom okruženju. U priručniku se nalaze praktične informacije, administrativni savjeti, korisni alate i razne studije slučaja za kontekstualizaciju tema o kojima se raspravljalo. Drugi alat je online platforma „Essential toolbox for volunteers“ koji je razvijen kao online trening s tri glavna modula za edukaciju i informiranje volontera o integraciji u njihovu novu organizaciju i novu zajednicu, svim praktičnim i administrativnim elementima, kao i iskustvu učenja. Ovaj trening je osmišljen tako da volonteri mogu prolaziti kroz module samostalno, tempom koji im odgovara. 21. prosinca u prostoru Društveno kulturnog centra Udruge IKS, okupili su se predstavnici nekoliko udruga i javnih ustanova, a koji rade s volonterima, kako bi se upoznali s alatima. Sabina Stipanec Grgić predstavila je opisane alate, a zatim su sudionici imali priliku postavljati pitanja kroz diskusiju te i samo isprobati alate.
Udruga IKS ostaje dostupna za savjetovanje u vezi korištenja alata ili u vezi prilika unutar programa Erasmus+ ili Europskih snaga solidarnosti te se nadamo većem broju organizacija koji uključuju volontere u svoj rad.
Projekt „Rise in quality“ financiran je sredstvima EU kroz program Erasmus+, KA2 Strateška partnerstva u području mladih. Sadržaj ovog članka isključiva je odgovornost Udruge IKS.
With the end of the year our “Rise in quality” project, which was implemented since September 2020 is coming to its end. One of the final activities was a local dissemination event, where we presented the results we developed through the project.
The aim of the Rise in quality project was to support the development of the capacities of organizations and persons working with international volunteers, and to influence the increase in the quality of support provided to volunteers. In order to achieve the stated goals, we developed two tools through the project that can be used by all organizations that work with international volunteers, especially those that have projects within the European Solidarity Forces program.
One of them is a manual “Coordinating international volunteers” which aims to support workers and organizations in providing quality management to international volunteers and enriching their learning experience in an informal environment. The handbook contains practical information, administrative tips, useful tools and various case studies to contextualize the topics discussed. Another tool is the online platform “Essential toolbox for volunteers”, which was developed as an online training with three main modules for educating and informing volunteers about integration into their new organization and new community, all practical and administrative elements, as well as the learning experience. This training is designed so that volunteers can go through the modules independently, at a pace that suits them. On December 21, representatives of several associations and public institutions, which work with volunteers, gathered in the space of the Social Cultural Center of the IKS Association, in order to familiarize themselves with the tools. Sabina Stipanec Grgić presented the described tools, and then the participants had the opportunity to ask questions through discussion and try using the tools.
Association IKS remains available for consultation regarding the use of tools or regarding opportunities within the Erasmus+ program or the European Solidarity Corps, and we hope for bigger number of organizations that include volunteers in their work.
