My perspective of Socijala Summer Festival – Marina Castro

My name is Marina and I have been volunteering at IKS for a month. During this time we have been preparing the decoration for the festival, as well as different activities for people of all ages, such as yoga, meditation, reading poetry in different languages and games for the little ones. Our intention was to contribute our bit to the town in a fun way.

The festival lasted 3 days in Kupa (for me, one of the most beautiful places in Petrinja). What I liked most about the Socijala event is meeting other volunteers from different countries, sharing experiences, cultures and other ways of thinking.

We share good moments in which, each one of us could show himself as he is. For me that has been the most beautiful and interesting of this Socijala Festival.
